What is MAGS?
MAGS is a reading-level system developed by mikeipin. It measures the complexity of the words used,
so you can choose a level that matches your current reading capability in the target language.
Level A is the simplest, and Level S is the most complex.
Choosing an appropriate level can make reading feel smoother and help you increase difficulty gradually.

What is scaffolding?
Scaffolding controls how much translation help appears while reading in your target language. Higher numbers show more bracket translations. Lower numbers show fewer, and 0 shows none.
Example: the target-language sentence stays the same, and some words show an English gloss in brackets.

Tip: If you feel stuck, raise the scaffolding value. If you want more immersion, lower it.
